Pastor Joan DeVries
In October 2023, Barrhaven Fellowship gladly welcomed Pastor Joan DeVries and her husband Frank to the Church family. Moving from Langly BC, Pastor Joan has stepped into the position of Interim Pastor, providing guidance and support to the Church as it works through the process of calling a full-time Pastor.
Earlier in her career, Pastor Joan and Frank lived in the Ottawa area while Frank attended Ottawa University and Pastor Joan taught at the Ottawa Christian School and Redeemer High School. Since then, Pastor Joan has had 20-plus years of Pastoral experience, in which she received a Ph.D. from McMaster Divinity School and had the opportunity to serve in 5 Congregations.
The Barrhaven Fellowship family looks forward to working with Pastor Joan as she supports the Church in this transitional time.
