This message is from 2 Peter 1:1-4. The apostle Peter is writing to believers scattered throughout what is now known as Turkey. In a culture and political atmosphere that is antagonistic to the Christian way of living, he is encouraging them to keep their eyes on Jesus, the one who gives what is really needed for daily and eternal living. As believers, this is a pertinent reminder for our own lives as we navigate in a society that has turned its hostility toward followers of Jesus.
