Holy Week Services

This Easter season, we invite you to walk with Jesus. Over three gatherings, we will trace His steps from the table to the cross, to the empty tomb.

In His Footsteps – Dinner
On Thursday, April 2, at 6 pm, we begin at the table. Join us for a simple Passover-style meal at tables in the sanctuary as we remember how God delivered His people from slavery. Together, we will see how Jesus changed the script – becoming the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. We will share Communion and have a “biblical dinner.” Please bring a food mentioned in the Bible to share at your table, such as bread, olives, grapes, figs, dates, lentils, fish, honey, herbs, pomegranates, cheese, etc.

In His Footsteps – Death
On  Friday, April 3, at 2:30 pm, we gather in quiet reverence for a Service of Shadows. Through Scripture readings and the gradual extinguishing of candles, we will walk the path from betrayal to crucifixion. As we hear the crowd cry, “Crucify Him,” we remember the depth of Christ’s love poured out for us. The service will end in silence.

In His Footsteps – Dawn
On Easter Sunday, April 5, at 10 am. Early on the first day of the week… while it was still dark. We will celebrate the resurrection as light fills the sanctuary and hope rises again. Death does not have the final word. Christ is risen!

We will celebrate with a children’s ribbon dance and a song from the choir. Afterwards, we’ll gather to enjoy bread and jams together.

Join us as we follow In His Footsteps, from Dinner, through Death, into Dawn.
