Dave & Sue Imbrock : Power to Change

Dear Friends at BFCRC,
May was an exciting month!  We saw basically every aspect of our ministry used by God in great ways! That includes answers to your prayers for fruitful follow-up from our May 6 outreach , an 8th diplomat wife joining Sue’s English group, and other events highlighted in this letter.  Pray we make the most of  the next 4-5 weeks of  prime ministry time before many leave for summer travels.
Your joyful and thankful co-laborers,
Dave and Sue Imbrock

Growing Evangelism in Multiple Ways . . .
. . . is the summary statement of the brief report below for the Power to Change Board meeting this week.

The past 12 months our team has intentionally focused interaction with leaders to center on Jesus.   Initiatives like a brochure on the mission of the Christian Embassy (released in June 2014), inspirational emails from our director to leaders (ongoing since fall 2014), a new website (launched October 2014), and increasing twitter activity have affirmed the Christian Embassy’s goal of   Inspiring Leaders with the person and values of Jesus.

Correspondingly, a higher percentage of leaders anticipate hearing about Jesus from our team.  We see greater openness among many & a responsiveness to engage in conversations about their own spiritual life.

Through increased distribution of evangelistic materials & partnering with the Gideons, we estimate more than 1500 learned of the gospel  or examples of the Christian life. This includes DVDs, Scripture portions, evangelistic magazines, and links to evangelistic websites.

Partnering with other branches of our Canada ministry and internationally has also borne fruit.  The May 19-22 Ambassador Business Tour to the greater Toronto area was a win-win-win.  Business leaders had opportunity to speak about their faith, three ambassadors saw many examples of hi-tech Canadian business, and several faith-oriented conversations arose with the ambassadors.   .
While this tour was taking place, we received a report from the Romania CCC director on the lasting spiritual fruit among five Romanian parliamentarians who met with Dave and others during our October 2014 delegation visit.
